What is FASTalk?FASTalk is a model for family engagement that provides students-many of whom are people of color, from low-income backgrounds, and multilingual learners-to meet critical literacy and math milestones, and achieve long-term academic success.
We work with schools and curriculum providers to share powerful evidence-based tips and activities that engage families in learning, using proven communication approaches preferred by families. Together, we are redefining family engagement to move beyond monitoring attendance, grades, and homework, toward a future where families and schools partner to ensure that poverty, race, or home language does not dictate a child's destiny. |
